So my new favorite show is Shark Tank on ABC. This is a fantastic program that all small business owners and wanna be small business owners should see. In the show people are given just a couple of minutes to pitch their ideas to angel investors. What's amazing is the quality of the investors on the show who can tell in a couple of sentences whether their idea is worth while or not. You'll learn about business valuation, what type of products make sense, and which fall short.

I can't tell you how many people have come to me over the years pitching their product ideas and asking for advice how they could launch their businesses like I did with SmartsCo. Unfortunately 90% of these ideas are products, not businesses. This is a common theme you'll see in the Shark Tank and I hope people take a look which will help them get a better idea of if their idea is a product or a business. 

Rumor has it that ABC is going to cancel the Shark Tank - I sincerely hope they do not. Many of us in the Count Me In community are participating in a letter writing campaign to ABC to help save the show. Please join us.
